I enjoyed making this Giant Cupcake.
The cake was a vanilla cake.
The top and the bottom are actually 2 different cakes and can be served separately.
Bottom part of the cake was covered with fondant.
Top part of the cake was covered in buttercream rosettes.
Cake was set on an 8″ cake board.
Gumpaste No. 1 topper and gumpaste daisies (on the other side of the cupcake not shown) completed the design.
This cake can comfortably serve the number of persons a 7″ round cake can serve, which is between 40 to 45 adults at 1″ by 2″ or 4″ tall slices, provided the top and bottom are served separately
